About a month ago a new line of Star Wars fragrances was launched by Lifestyle Perfumes: Amidala for her, Jedi and Empire for him. As geeky fun as those are, what about the more classic smells of Star Wars such as Tauntaun and Wookiee? Continue reading

Mature Han Solo Perler Pixel Pattern
(No Spoilers) To spoil or not to spoil. That is the question. As with all other The Force Awakens posts we have made, we had to decide whether we want this post to be safe from spoilers. One the one hand, we obviously don’t want to ruin anything… on the other hand we really really REALLY want to talk to you guys about the movie! The Force Awakens, LEGO® has released a new version of the Millennium Falcon, set 75105. Weighing in at an impressive 1329 pieces (plus a few extras, just in case), six minifigures plus a droid, and a price tag of $149.99, is this set worth the investment?

With the exception of the holster, Han Solo’s costume was probably the simplest Star Wars costume we have made to date. It was done in a just a few hours. The holster on the other hand took some tinkering – but worth it, it is what makes Han’s costume cool!
Han Solo Perler Bead Coaster
I watched Star Wars for the first time when I was in college. I had seen bits and pieces before, but college was the first time I got to watch all 3 movies, together, in all their gloriousness. My biggest take-away at the time was…. the biggest crush ever on Han Solo. sigh. (a moment while I sit here and reminisce)
Really, it was NOT a Star Wars Wedding!
…or at least is was 95% Star Wars free! (That is probably not the answer our friends would give you if you asked them about the wedding, but it is nevertheless true!) Since Valentine’s is coming up, I thought it would be appropriate to get a little personal here, and share a few details about our special day.
