I have been following Jessica at @thepieous (of Pies are Awesome) on Instagram for a while now. As you guys probably have figured out, I am big fan of “food art” and it is with joy that I watch her weekly pie creations.
In honor of the Rogue One opening she made a series of Star Wars pies for Wholesale Party Supplies that are, well, out of this world.
A few years ago, M4P friend Amy brought this amazing Boba Feta Snack to our May the Fourth Party. It had nothing but gorgeous, out-of-this-world Feta cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers. And really, who could possibly ask for more? (I admit it, I’m a big fan of cheese!) Just like any good cheese snack, the less interfering with the cheese the better, and this was so good, you didn’t even need (or want) crackers. (Woo-hoo, gluten-free)!
Forget the balloons at the mailbox! A Star Wars Party deserves some truly special outdoor decorations. So for last year’s May the Fourth be with You Party, Jedi Master Heidi made these banners (and banner stands) for the front entrance of our house. They looked very festive, AND they served as a subtle warning to our neighbors that the Geeks were about to take over the cul-du-sac once again.
Mint Yoda, Chocolate Chewbacca, Dark Chocolate Darth Vader, and Banana C-3PO… Everyone at our Star Wars Party last year had their own favorite Star Wars sugar cookie flavor!
Give her (or him) a box of these chocolates and say: You take my breath away…
We geeks want to be wooed on Valentines Day as much as everyone else! And nothing will prove your love and understanding more than making your own Darth Vader Maraschino Cherry filled Chocolates for the Star Wars fan in your life! (At least that’s what the Hubby tells me) They look impressive, but it can be our secret that they are REALLY quick and easy to make!
People are always wearing cool T-shirts to our M4Ps. But, I have to admit I always enjoy the homemade ones the most. (I also like the DIY costumes the best too. It is just so much fun seeing what people can make with some duct-tape, foam, spray pain, fabric and lots of imagination)
