I mentioned before that Sabine is #1’s favorite Star Wars Rebels character. Mine is Hera. She might not be quite as flashy, but her level-headedness and cool under pressure greatly appeals to me.
I often reference the vast Star Wars wiki site Wookieepedia when I write my posts. Sometimes for ideas, other times to verify something I am not sure about, perhaps to check a spelling, or occasionally I simply don’t know anything about a character.
So when I went to check a couple of facts for today’s post about Kanan, here is what I found:
(UPDATE) BREAKING NEWS: Star Wars Rebels Season 3 starts on Sat. Sept 24 at 8:30 pm. WOO-HOO!
Now we can get back to our original post:
The last episode of Season 2 of Star Wars Rebels. Our family lined up on the couch. Each armed with a Star Wars popcorn bucket.
After part one of the season finale we were filled with anticipation about part two. (watch out, Spoilers ahead)
As you guys know, this blog and our May the Fourth Parties would not be possible without Jedi Master Heidi’s help and crafty brilliance. She wields an X-acto knife better than anyone I know. And don’t even think about challenging her to a glue-gun duel. You. Will. Loose.
From day 1, Star Wars has done a better job at representing women than most other popular franchises (except Aliens). Princess Leia is strong, feisty, and just as competent as the guys. Padmé Amidala is the smartest of all new characters in the Prequels. And in Clone Wars, we are introduced to the fabulous Ahsoka Tano and Assajj Ventress.
Today we are starting our Star Wars Rebels pixel patterns series.
Upon ADAMANT requests from #1, I made the patterns a couple of months back. Then we built all designs together …and I had to PROMISE we would have them all posted by the time the new season starts. Rumor has it season 3 will start in the fall, so we better get started if we are going to post all 12 patterns before then.
