As you know, we are all HUGE fans of DIY Star Wars costumes here at M4P. Give us some fleece, duct tape, glue gun and an X-acto knife and we are ready to try just about anything! So when I look for costume ideas and inspiration for us, it really makes me smile when I run across others making their own too.
One of my all-time favorites is this X-wing pilot from www.filthwizardry.com. It just puts a huge grin on my face! Even though I have seen the movies more times than I would like to admit, I realized that I actually didn’t know what the helmet really looked like. So, when I found Filth Wizardry’s post, I had to google Luke’s helmet. I had never realized that the sides of the helmets where so large, and that they do in fact look just like paper plates!
