One of the marvelous things about the Star Wars franchise is how it engages people’s imagination. Just like countless other kids in the late 70’s, the hubby spent a good chunk of his time drawing TIE-fighters and pretending to be shooting at stormtroopers. Now a generation later, our kids are drawing X-wings and having Lightsabers fights.

Of course he has a compelling argument… He bought the Admiral Ackbar bobble-head that was inside for me (yeah!!!), AND he created the wrapping. And as all of Gene’s fans know, Gene has a somewhat warped sense of humor, so a lobster claw wrapping makes perfect sense to him. Calamarian… Red gourmet seafood… Lobster.
Seeing the new trailer, I am itching to make patterns of The Force Awakens characters. I am hoping to have the 5 new core characters designed and posted before the movie opens up – so stay tuned!
