M4P friend Gene Ha will tell you this gift wrap is NOT a space slug, it is a lobster claw…
Of course he has a compelling argument… He bought the Admiral Ackbar bobble-head that was inside for me (yeah!!!), AND he created the wrapping. And as all of Gene’s fans know, Gene has a somewhat warped sense of humor, so a lobster claw wrapping makes perfect sense to him. Calamarian… Red gourmet seafood… Lobster.
The first batch of the M4P The Force Awakens Perler Pixel Patterns are done! #1 and I have completed 9 designs, so that will keep us posting The Force Awakens patterns on our “Pixel Mondays” until the end of the year. And I would think that once we see the movie, we will want to create a few more. I am especially interested in Lupita Nyong’o’s and Andy Serkis’ motion capture characters.
#1 had been looking forward to making BB-8 for months, so it was the first one we completed. It seems to be a good one to start with, here as well.

There are bad guys, and there are scary, snarly, nightmare inducing guys. Bib Fortuna always gave me the creeps more than any other character…. I think even more than Darth Maul.
This creates an interesting dilemma when making children’s clothing… On the one hand there is the opportunity to use a pun like Bib, on the other hand you don’t want to scar your young child for life.

Never mind the mere 7 weeks until Christmas. Today, there are exactly 6 months until May the Fourth!! So maybe a “Happy May the Fourth be with You and a half” is in order…
This made me realize that there are patterns and downloads we promised to post, and just never got to. So lets try to get through our backlog, shall we! And since we are already talking about May 4th, lets start with another one of our popular “May the Fourth be with You Party” shirt designs.
We can’t believe have been doing this for a whole year!!! During that time we have discovered that blogging is a blast. Doing something so fun, and to be able to share it with you guys has been really rewarding. And after a year, we still feel strongly that we don’t want to charge for our patterns and downloads, this is fan art site, and we plan on keeping it that way.
