Just over 3 months left to get our May the Fourth be with You Party crafts done. Time to get started! Good thing I have my new best friend: my Silhouette Cameo 2 Die-cutting Machine. I sound like an infomercial, I do, but I have to say I am in awe of its almost unlimited possibilities… If only my available time was unlimited as well.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
A few weeks ago I shared that M4P mom was worried that our Christmas cards were going to be Star Wars themed. Well, she was right! (My mom is almost always right…) We sent them out a couple of weeks ago, and now I’m sharing them with you guys too.
The cards had a cut Star Wars snowflake on top, once you flipped that up, you can see the text, photos and design elements – all which are Star Wars themed. (Go further down the post to see the card in its entirety).
But this post really is not about Star Wars…. ‘cuz as much as we focus on fun, and arguably frivolous things here on this blog, we all know these are not the things that truly matter in life.
Kylo Ren Perler Pixel Pattern
(No Spoilers!) They say that the villain is always the most interesting character in a story. I’m not sure that is necessarily true. And from what I had seen in the previews, I didn’t think Kylo Ren seemed terribly original or interesting – and unnecessarily flashy with his over-the-top, impractical lightsaber.
After having seen the movie though, I have totally changed my tune. I think he is my favorite new character. (Sorry Captain Phasma!)
DIY Darth Maul Christmas Shirt
Day 5 of the M4P exclusive Christmas Star Wars vector downloads. Darth Maul would be a perfect gift for all the Grinches out there. Now, I was going to close out with “Bah, Humbug!”, but I treasure this time of year too much to write it even in jest. So let’s go with “Early wishes of a wonderful Christmas” instead.
…And we’ll back tomorrow with one last vector pattern for y’all.
‘Tis the Season for Star Wars Bling

My hubby is nothing, if not a thoughtful man. Why else would he get me the new Game of Thrones season set, EVERY year for my birthday…. Why else would he happily enable my Star Wars Lego Mini-fig habit? Why on earth would he rewire all our Internet cables in the house so we, I mean I, could get caught up on Breaking Bad
on Netflix before the last season started on TV, if it wasn’t out of love for me?
And if giving your wife the complete series set of Battlestar Galactica “just because,” isn’t romantic, then I don’t know what is…
Well, maybe Star Wars Jewelry…
Drawing on our Imagination! (DIY Star Wars Crayons)
One of the marvelous things about the Star Wars franchise is how it engages people’s imagination. Just like countless other kids in the late 70’s, the hubby spent a good chunk of his time drawing TIE-fighters and pretending to be shooting at stormtroopers. Now a generation later, our kids are drawing X-wings and having Lightsabers fights.
