Forget the balloons at the mailbox! A Star Wars Party deserves some truly special outdoor decorations. So for last year’s May the Fourth be with You Party, Jedi Master Heidi made these banners (and banner stands) for the front entrance of our house. They looked very festive, AND they served as a subtle warning to our neighbors that the Geeks were about to take over the cul-du-sac once again.
Characters
Flavored Star Wars Sugar Cookies
Mint Yoda, Chocolate Chewbacca, Dark Chocolate Darth Vader, and Banana C-3PO… Everyone at our Star Wars Party last year had their own favorite Star Wars sugar cookie flavor!
Supreme Leader Snoke Perler Pixel Pattern
There has been more speculation about Snoke’s identity than pretty much anything else in The Force Awakens.
Is he alive (and shown as a hologram), or dead (i.e. a spirit/”space ghost” like Yoda and Obi-Wan)? Is he Vader? The Emperor? Obviously, he is not Porkins.
Andy Serkis was quoted as saying that Snoke is a new character, so maybe any and all speculation is pointless. Still, my favorite theory is that Snoke is the “dead” Darth Plagueis, re-appearing as a “space ghost”.
DIY R2-D2 Chalkboard Sign

So to keep us organized, she made these (re-useable) chalkboard signs that R 2 cute…
Bantha Ribs
Star Wars Parties can get pretty elaborate. So we are always excited when we have food that is Star Wars themed, fun, yummy AND easy to make. And what can possible be more fun, yummy and easy than a Bantha Carcass…. erhm.
