There they were, a whole pile of pears with a sign that said “Bosc Pears 79¢ each”. I stood there staring at them for a while, trying to make the connection – I knew there was one. Then it hit me: Bossk, the feared bounty hunter and Bobba Fett’s BFF! I made a little squeal of delight when I realized that his head shape and coloring perfectly matched the Bosc Pears. Another Star Wars Food Art project, WOOHOO!!!
Food
Twice the Hoth Chocolate. Swede!
Should Hoth Chocolate be served Hot or Cold? Hot, because it is a pun, and the people here at M4P are awfully fond of puns? Or cold, because, well, everything on Hoth is frozen? An internal M4P poll came out divided (3 to 2 in favor of Hot). So we ended up making both: a Hot(h) version, AND a cold Hoth-like version. Do Movie Theaters Allow Tailgating?
The Force Awakens comes out in 2 weeks. You already have your tickets. You already have a babysitter (if you could find one willing to be at your house until 4 am on a school night. Though I am thinking the Star Wars movie release date and the day after should be considered national holidays.)

And for my dad to feel better.
And world peace…
And this lamp…
…and this thermos… (I do so love Steve Martin. If you have not seen it, ask for The Jerk for Christmas!)

Love in a (BB-8 Water) Bottle! (DIY)
They say spring is for new romances, and indeed, in April of this year we all fell in love! BB-8 is one of the cutest movie character to come along in years. And of course we all really, really, really wanted one of our own! Since the lab at M4P is equipped to make any full size robot, as long as it can be built with duct tape… a full-size, working BB-8 was out of the question. However, these M4P exclusive mini-versions were well within our abilities.
