I know Halloween is done and over with. But I am thinking, if I keep the “scary” up for a few more days, I can justify continuing eating the kids’ Halloween candy… So today I am sharing the pattern for the Star Wars character that gives me the most creeps… Bib Fortuna.

X-Wing Perler Bead Coaster
Seeing the new trailer, I am itching to make patterns of The Force Awakens characters. I am hoping to have the 5 new core characters designed and posted before the movie opens up – so stay tuned! In the meantime, here is one of the ships that is used in The Force Awakens, as well as the original movies.
Lando Calrissian Perler Bead Coaster
There is no one as smooth as Lando. He is by far the best ladies man in Star Wars. Obi-Wan is a too much like our dad. Qui-Gon, nice, but, honestly, a bit boring. Mace is cool, but dangerous. Han is pretty rough around the edges. And Luke is, well, our brother. Count Dooku Perler Bead Coaster
Most of us geeks of course know Christopher Lee as a pivotal character in two of the most popular movie series of all time (Count Dooku in Star Wars, and Saruman in The Lord of the Rings/Hobbit). When Grievous was introduced to us in Episode III, we really didn’t know much about Grievous’ back story. Later, in the canon, we of course find out that his transformation was triggered by the death of his dear (female) friend Ronderu lij Kummar. However, through Fu’s choice of making Grievous’ chest cavity open (and heart exposed), we feel that loss and humanity, without knowing anything about him. We get a sense of vulnerability, in a way entirely unexpected of a Jedi-killing cyborg.
That back story also foretells Anakin’s descent into darkness. Here is George Lucas’ take on who Grievous is…
Obi Two Kenobis (Perler Bead Coaster)

Today we have, not Wan, but Two Kenobis for y’all: The young-ish from Episode 2 and 3, and the mature Old Ben from Episode 4. I decided to make both since, Ewan McGregor is, well Ewan McGregor, and Alec Guinness is de Man. One should not have to choose.
