My husband doesn’t know it yet, but he is going to be a Wookiee when he takes the kids trick-or-treating this Halloween. (Surprise Honey!) Since trick-or-treating really is for the kids, we adults usually don’t dress, up – other than some nominal Star Wars gear. I usually wear my Yoda Hat, and the hubby carries a light saber, and maybe his Jedi robe (Adult Jedi costume post to come, I promise). This year though, I bought him a Wookiee Jacket to wear. But promise not to tell him, I wouldn’t want him to get too disappointed if I decide to keep it for myself…

DIY Party C-3PO Shirt
Saturday is really the only day we ever get a chance to do any crafts at the M4P HQ. So if, like us, you are looking for an easy fun project for tomorrow, here is the downloadable pattern and instructions on how to make the M4P C-3PO Tshirt.
Easy Peasy Costumes
After a bit of a break getting ready for, and hosting our own May the Fourth be with You Party, we are now back to the blog… though still a bit tired. So I thought we would feature something EASY today. Since we are showcasing Gene Ha while his Kickstarter Campaign is going on, today we are sharing his and (his better half) Lisa’s perfect, yet super simple, costumes from last year.
A Gift too Nice to Open! (Ewok Wrapping)
Come on, who does not LOVE getting presents? And who does not LOVE to tear them open right away? Not me, not this time. I recently received 3 small-ish boxes (from M4P friend Gene Ha) wrapped as Star Wars figures, and I just could not imagine that the inside could live up to the awesome outsides. So I didn’t, open them, for a looong, time.
Wookiee Cookies
In honor of M4P friend Gene Ha’s new Mae Graphic Novel Kickstarter campaign, we are going to feature Gene’s ideas for the next 4 weeks. First up, the M4P exclusive Wookiee Cookies.
Chewie-Chewy… Chewbacca… There is a pun in there some where. Let’s see. “Kids, this is the last time I tell you, finish to Chew back at the table!!”! Hm. That didn’t work quite as well as I had hoped…
Do you what works beautifully though? This recipe. Coconutty, chocolatey goodness all in the shape of a friendly Wookiee. Most definitely one of the yummiest things we have ever featured.
Wedge Antilles Perler Bead Coaster
I had big plans. We were going to be X-Wing pilots for this year’s May the Fourth Party. But plans change. And this time for the better! Instead of making costumes, I have had the pleasure of being part of a big, exciting, creative project of a different sort. It is super secret as of right now, but I will talk about it on my post this Friday!! (Be sure to tune in!)
So, in lieu of our own gear, I am featuring Wedge for our weekly Perler/cross-stitch/Lego/pixel/mosaic pattern.
