One of the things on my bucket list is to see all of Shakespeare’s plays, live on stage. (I’ve made a decent dent – about a dozen different plays live, plus another 10 plays recorded live on stage, or movies)

So needless to say, when M4P friend Amy sent me Ian Doescher’s, marvelous 3 book boxed set William Shakespeare’s Star Wars for Christmas last year. I squealed with surprise and delight! It’s like they were written just for me!!!

M4P friend Gene Ha will tell you this gift wrap is NOT a space slug, it is a lobster claw…

Of course he has a compelling argument… He bought the Admiral Ackbar bobble-head that was inside for me (yeah!!!), AND he created the wrapping. And as all of Gene’s fans know, Gene has a somewhat warped sense of humor, so a lobster claw wrapping makes perfect sense to him. Calamarian… Red gourmet seafood… Lobster.

There are bad guys, and there are scary, snarly, nightmare inducing guys. Bib Fortuna always gave me the creeps more than any other character…. I think even more than Darth Maul.

This creates an interesting dilemma when making children’s clothing… On the one hand there is the opportunity to use a pun like Bib, on the other hand you don’t want to scar your young child for life.

I recently received 3 small-ish boxes (from M4P friend Gene Ha) wrapped as Star Wars figures, and I just could not imagine that the inside could live up to the awesome outsides.
