Just over 3 months left to get our May the Fourth be with You Party crafts done. Time to get started! Good thing I have my new best friend: my Silhouette Cameo 2 Die-cutting Machine. I sound like an infomercial, I do, but I have to say I am in awe of its almost unlimited possibilities… If only my available time was unlimited as well.

Is there Crying at Star Wars?
2 weeks ago, we talked about Star Wars movie preparedness. The movie premiers tomorrow, and I wanted to mention one last thing: You’ll probably need tissues!
The fact that there is a new movie coming out is pretty emotional for a lot of people. And I vividly remember the day, 3 years ago when it was announced that Disney bought Star Wars…
The Hubby was working really late, and I had already turned in. Around 2 am, I was forcefully awakend by loud thumps, red flashing lights and my bed shaking. As you can imagine, being woken up like that was terrifying… a lot of really horrible scenarios involving breaking of doors, kidnapped children, robbers (or worse) and police flashed through my mind.
DIY Party Yoda Shirt
Never mind the mere 7 weeks until Christmas. Today, there are exactly 6 months until May the Fourth!! So maybe a “Happy May the Fourth be with You and a half” is in order…
This made me realize that there are patterns and downloads we promised to post, and just never got to. So lets try to get through our backlog, shall we! And since we are already talking about May 4th, lets start with another one of our popular “May the Fourth be with You Party” shirt designs.
Star Warsy Mr. Pumpkin Head
Despite my cheese carving endeavors, I have never been much of a pumpkin carver. We do the basic monster faces every year, and even that is under some protest on my part. Having spent countless hours playing with the kids and their Darth Tater, I am however, really good at sticking plastic arms and legs into fake produce.
Downloadable Yoda Soda and Darth Pop Labels
These are our very own, M4P exclusive, 2 liter soda labels, made for our own M4P party. And you can download them for free from our blog.
In my day job, I spend a lot of time designing food labels and packaging. So it was just a matter of time before we started making fake Star Wars food labels for our parties. This was my first stab, and I am really happy to be sharing them with you guys. Feel free to download the pdf or the jpegs below and use for your own parties.
More Star Wars (w)rap! (Yoda Wrapping)
A couple of weeks ago I featured a present wrapped as an Ewok (from M4P friend Gene Ha). Now that we are recovered from all our partying, I am keeping my promise to feature one of his other paper-folding wrappings. So today we have Yoda!
