10 days left until Halloween! Not much time if you are making your own costume. We have been tinkering with ours for 2 weeks already, and are not done yet (1 done, 1 halfway done), but we will be done this weekend. However, if you have not started yet, there is still plenty of time to make an original costume: Rey is one of the easiest Star Wars characters to improvise with things you already have at home.

Rex (CT-7567) Perler Pixel Pattern
One of the best reasons to watch Star Wars: Rebels is how it broadens our understanding and knowledge of the Star Wars universe. The show is wonderful on its own merit, but the bridge it creates between the Original Trilogy, the Prequels and Clone Wars makes it almost required watching for any fan.
Leia + Yoda 4-Ever (DIY Leia Costume)
We are currently working on this year’s Halloween costumes. Last night, my daughter tried her’s on. As she was grinning from ear to ear, she said the sweetest thing: When I wear the costumes you make for me, I feel warm inside.

We watch Star Wars: Rebels as a family. Our kids are 9 and 4, and the show is great fun for them, as well as for me and the Hubby. That is, with one major exception.
They’re Sand People Alright! (DIY Tusken Raider Costume)
M4P friend Linda and her family always bring a surprise for our May the Fourth be with You Parties – be it a totally original dish, or fantastic home-made costumes. My favorite is their Sand People Family costumes from 5 years ago.

STAR WARS: REBELS IS BACK ON TV! We have watched the first 2 episodes, and the whole family is really excited about where this season is heading!
