…or at least is was 95% Star Wars free! (That is probably not the answer our friends would give you if you asked them about the wedding, but it is nevertheless true!) Since Valentine’s is coming up, I thought it would be appropriate to get a little personal here, and share a few details about our special day.

Sith or Jedi: Force Crystal Jello
Citrullus Lanatus Imperial Planetary Ore Extractor

Is there such a thing as a Fruit Sith? Or Fruit Jedi? If there was, Heidi Sutton would be it. She makes a Watermelon (latin name: Citrullus Lanatus) DS-1 Orbital Battle Station for every M4P. (BTW, I think Fruit Sith would be a pretty awesome upgrade to the popular game. Programmers, contact me, let’s talk!!)
Dagobah Swamp Jello

Me to Hubby: Honey, can I submerge one of your X-Wings in Jello?
Here is how that question arose… We need a cool new dish this year. What have we made in the past? What do we not have? We don’t have any soups… hm, what is liquid in the movies? Lake Paonga on Naboo? Yoda’s swamp! Swamp! Green soup? X-Wing? X-Wing will melt! Cold soup…Avacado? (Google recipes….) Cucumber? Ugh! X-Wing in something green. Swampy? Slimy? JELLO!!!!
Imperial S’mores
The TIE fighter is arguably the most recognizeable space ship in movie history. It was designed by Colin Cantwell at ILM for for the first of the Star Wars movies. The Twin Ion Engines, the hexagonal wings with solar panels, and the orb-shaped cockpit in the middle makes it stand out from all other ships. And like most cool things before CGI and 3D printers, they were crafted in glorious detail, by hand. Not to say that modern technology isn’t good. If I had a 3D printer that could print chocolate, the Imperial S’mores would be WAY faster to make. BTW, this is THE favorite food we make for the M4Ps. (AND a M4P original!) We make a whole armada!
Some of my Favorite Things (DIY Star Wars Chocolates)
My favorite things (not in any particular order): family, friends, God, Puccini, cheese, Christmas trees, Star Wars, and chocolate. They are even better when combined: a cheese party with friends, seeing Tosca with the hubby, the Christmas display at Church…. and now, eating Star Wars chocolates!!!
