Should Hoth Chocolate be served Hot or Cold? Hot, because it is a pun, and the people here at M4P are awfully fond of puns? Or cold, because, well, everything on Hoth is frozen? An internal M4P poll came out divided (3 to 2 in favor of Hot). So we ended up making both: a Hot(h) version, AND a cold Hoth-like version. Both simple, yummy, and made with a secret Swedish ingredient.

Do Movie Theaters Allow Tailgating?
The Force Awakens comes out in 2 weeks. You already have your tickets. You already have a babysitter (if you could find one willing to be at your house until 4 am on a school night. Though I am thinking the Star Wars movie release date and the day after should be considered national holidays.)
You probably already have some sort of costume. (If not, we have plenty of DIY and store bought ideas here on the blog – just remember, no masks or weapons at the cineplex!)
So the remaining question is, have you planned your food?
(Just gory enough) Wampa Cookies
It’s the last full day of Gene Ha’s Kickstarter, so today we are finishing up our Gene Ha series with a bang, featuring his Wampa Cookies!
Food is best made with friends, and these were a collaboration of several of us. Gene had the great idea of making Wampas based on his Wookie cookies. But since he has been crazy busy running his Kickstarter Campaign, Jedi Master Heidi and I volunteered to figure out how.
Wookiee Cookies
In honor of M4P friend Gene Ha’s new Mae Graphic Novel Kickstarter campaign, we are going to feature Gene’s ideas for the next 4 weeks. First up, the M4P exclusive Wookiee Cookies.
Chewie-Chewy… Chewbacca… There is a pun in there some where. Let’s see. “Kids, this is the last time I tell you, finish to Chew back at the table!!”! Hm. That didn’t work quite as well as I had hoped…
Do you what works beautifully though? This recipe. Coconutty, chocolatey goodness all in the shape of a friendly Wookiee. Most definitely one of the yummiest things we have ever featured.
Mos Eisleys Cantina (DIY Beverage station)
No proper Star Wars party should be without a Star Wars Cantina or Chalmun’s Cantina, as it is actually called. Cos-play can be serious work, and lots of costumes are really warm (just ask my daughter after wearing her Chewie costume for 4 hours). So you need to make sure your guests are well hydrated. Just promise that all lightsabers are checked at the entrance – we suspect all your guests will want to leave with all their limbs intact.
